ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Students who wish to apply for admission to Yayasan Sarawak International Secondary School (YSISS) must meet the following criteria:

a) Students must be a Sarawakian OR one of the parents of the students must be a Sarawakian.
b) Students must be currently in Primary 6 / Year 6.
c) Students must be currently enrolled in one of the following type of schools:

• Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC)
• Any primary school (Sekolah Kebangsaan [SK], Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJKs) or private) located outside of Sarawak
• International Schools

Students are required to sit for the YSISS Entrance Assessment, which will evaluate proficiency in the following subjects:

• Science
• Mathematics
• English

PLEASE NOTE: Students outside of these categories do not need to apply, as their application to YSISS is considered directly through the UP-DLP Sarawak.
