YSISS Petra Jaya is proud to celebrate our students’ meaningful debut at the National Robotics Open Competition 2025, held on 1 November 2025, marking our very first appearance in this prestigious national platform. Our Lower Secondary team achieved 14th place out of 22 schools, while our Upper Secondary team secured 11th place in their category. Although the teams did not advance to the next stage for the World Robotics Olympiad, their participation represents an important milestone for the school, reflecting strong enthusiasm, perseverance, and a growing passion for STEM. With limited prior experience in robotics competitions, our students embraced the challenge wholeheartedly—engaging with other teams, asking thoughtful questions, and seeking ways to enhance their robot design and programming. They returned energised, inspired, and ready to refine their skills for future competitions. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported their journey; your encouragement has helped nurture their confidence and curiosity as we continue shaping future innovators. 🌟 ![]()
