The Teacher’s Day Celebration 2025 at YSISS PJ, held on 16 May, was a heartwarming and memorable event that honoured the dedication and passion of our educators. The celebration featured a variety of engaging performances by both students and teachers, creating moments of joy, laughter, and connection throughout the day. Students showcased their talents with confidence and creativity, while the teachers impressed the crowd with a lively and entertaining performance of their own. The event successfully strengthened the bond between students and teachers, fostering a spirit of appreciation, unity, and mutual respect within the YSISS PJ family.![]()

Our recent Student Volunteer Program, held on 19 June 2025, was filled with fun, learning, and teamwork! The program began with an overview and the introduction of our student volunteer cheer, followed by a series of engaging activities designed to build bonds, enhance creativity, and develop problem-solving skills among the volunteers. Throughout the day, students participated in various team-building games, discussion sessions, and planning for upcoming events such as the camping trip, department roles, noticeboard decoration, and volunteer chant. The program ended with a meaningful reflection and feedback session. It was a great start to foster collaboration and prepare our volunteers for a purposeful journey ahead!![]()

We are incredibly proud of our second cohort of 79 students for their remarkable achievements in the recent Cambridge Checkpoint Examinations. They achieved a 100% pass rate and have raised the bar with over 50% attaining the highest Outstanding Band in Science, while maintaining more than 40% Outstanding Band in Mathematics and 25% in English as a Second Language. Notably, 13 students earned Outstanding Band in all three subjects, with 2 students achieving perfect band scores across the board!![]()
This success reflects the collective effort of our students, teachers and parents. Congratulations and may this achievement inspire you and others to keep striving for excellence!
On 12 June 2025, Yayasan Sarawak International Secondary School (YSISS) Petra Jaya was honoured to welcome YBhg. Datuk Amar Jaul Samion, Advisor in the Office of the Premier of Sarawak, and YBhg. Datu Mohamad Junaidi Haji Mohidin, Director of Yayasan Sarawak. The visit was also graced by YBhg. Datuk Amar Michael Manyin, Chairman of YS International Education Sdn. Bhd. (YSIE), and YBrs. Dr. Abdul Rahman Deen, YSIE Director and Board of Governors member. The school leadership team presented a briefing on the establishment of YSISS and the implementation of the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus. The Director of Yayasan Sarawak also toured the campus with YBrs. Mdm Noranne, Chief Executive Officer of YSIE, and received updates on the new hostel construction progress. This visit reaffirmed the ongoing commitment to advance the state's education development and foster meaningful engagement with the broader education community.
