It is with the utmost pleasure that we welcome you to the Yayasan Sarawak International Secondary School Petra Jaya.
We offer a range of Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programmes and the National Curriculum syllabus. As such, pupils would be competent in both national and international qualifications to meet the world of opportunities of their post secondary education, thus well prepared for tertiary education and leadership responsibilities.
Our English medium of instruction will improve our pupils’ proficiency in the language. Our pupil centred teaching and learning approach will assist our pupils to be responsible for their learning and to develop important 21st Century skills such as problem solving, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication. Our comprehensive programmes for character development will empower our pupils to become effective leaders of tomorrow. The school is well facilitated to allow each child to participate actively in learning and personal development. All these constitute a conducive environment for learning.
Our school is overseen and monitored by the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD). This will ascertain that our school programmes are well aligned to the aspiration of our State.
